Nick would probably say that the best kind of baby shower involves burgers and microbrews. Thankfully, we have a group of awesome friends that agree!Our friends, Deb & Shawn Hinz hosted a wonderful gathering of Seattle-based friends at their beautiful home in Snoqualmie. My parents were able to come as well since it was the same day as my work shower (seen in previous post).
Rebecca & Derek Kavan and Sarah & Greg Gerrish also co-hosted the special evening that did not involve any baby shower games or structured gift opening. Instead, our friends all chipped in for the "breast pump/diaper fund" which was incredibly helpful!
Hold on a second...all I have to do is get Sarah pregnant and people will throw us parties and give us beer and money? Nick...you're my hero!
