Mother's Day

We journeyed over to Eastern Washington to meet up with the McGrandparents, and drove down to see my brother Joel in the Tri-Cities for a nice Mother's Day dinner all together. The weather was absolutely gorgeous! So we took a few photos that highlight Molly's presence, and our three generations of McFarland ladies. Highlights include: my Dad's gift to my mom--a sling shot so she can instill fear into the crows at the cabin (projects things up to 200 mph!), stopping for photos at the Gorge/Vantage overlook, and seeing Mt. Stewart in all her glory on the drive back to Seattle.

I just want to acknowledge that these posts are mostly just killing time before we have cute baby pics.

  1. I guess that's better than just killing crows.

Remember those snaps, the fire crackers you could step on or throw at people when we were little? My grandad taught my brother and I how to use a slingshot on the fourth of July, so we practiced by shooting those at each other. Good times...
